And of course, he has a Heads Up Display. Complete with Error message!
(this is probably one of my favorite strips that you've done, because this is a wonderful visual gag.)

I highly dislike Generation V Pokémon, but I must admit that your style made look Druddigon quite badass.

Heh, Trace can produce some really funny results.
And considering that the other user is Gardevoir, you can get some seriously funny results e.g. Thick Fat, Big Pecks, Liquid Ooze, Magma Armor, Moody, SHed Skin, Stench .... Damp :p

Briljant, som alltid :) Rare Candy Treatment är en av mina favoritserier, och inte förrän nu upptäcker jag att upphovsmannen är svensk. Var har jag hållit hus? :P

Yep
You could do a whole series of these based on Trace. Imagine Porygon2 with Compound Eyes, Clear Body, Color Change, Chlorophyll, Dry Skin, Flame Body, Heavy Metal, Ice Body, Klutz, Liquid Ooze, Magma Armor, Mummy, Rock Head, Shed Skin, Shell Armor, Snow Cloak, Stench, Suction Cups, Tangled Feet, Thick Fat......

@Guest: technically it IS Polygon; Porygon's name was originally meant to be a subtle stab at the fact that some Asians have trouble with L's and R's.

you should make something on how the pokeball always seems to face away from the trainer no matter how it's thrown :P

Porygon2 traced Druddigon's Rough Skin ability! Porygon2 devolved into Porygon!

@Ashitaka: I read Heavy Metal and immediately thought of Porygon2 in a band.

"Patience"
@comicboy: I agree with the last two comments. Except for the whole misspelling of "patience" thing

@Rival: I remember sometime ago he said that his updates wouldn't be as frequent. I have no idea if that's still in place but I assume it is, so don't be too impatient. And it's patience, to those other 2.

@Rival: Sorry, I just thought it wouldn't matter. If you are going to be that close to detail, I'll check my spelling next time, even though I assumed it wouldn't matter in a pokemon comic comments section. I hope you're happy now (last sentence spoken in begrudging tone).

Well if it isn't another ability strip. How novel.
Actually, for a long time I've wanted to make something out of the Trace ability, while also giving Porygon some screentime. I did, however, never decide on an ability to run with. Then Craig emailed me his Rough Skin suggestion, and after throwing the idea back and forth, we reached a satisfying agreement, which we hope will please the rest of you lot too.
Any likelyness between this update and earlier strips is a complete coincidence and should be ignored entirely. Something that is also a complete coincidence is that both Porygon and Druddigon share colors and name endings, which too should be ignored entirely.
I've also put some effort into writing hovertexts for my comic strips, both new and old. So if hunting down secret messages is an active/dormant interest of yours, then you should let your cursor stay on the comic strip.
