Perhaps the well dressed dou of quagsire and wailord could be engaged in a battle, where they'd sit and do nothing.

Quagsire & the attire
I think you should give Quagisire a stache. That or a cane. Or sideburns. Donn't know why, just think he'll look cool.

How do you summon the garden rake, use magnetics? Besides, the trainer would obviously avoid it when sending out the 'mon. And the 'mons aren't that dumb. Hey, I've an idea! It only works if the opponent has the ability 'Oblivious'!
P.S. @gamekidg7: OMG Quagsire in tophat give him stache! Or cane! Or a combover! Wait, that would need a stache.

Trusty Old Rakes.
So garden rakes would be super effective against grass type pokemon, no?

I have just read the whole archive, I've looking for a pokemon themed webcomic for a long time, keep up the good work!
Man I wish I could draw worth a damn, seeing this kind of comics makes me wish I could make my own.

Sorry Lucario...
...but does anyone hear metal (RAAAAUGH!!!), Sonic Adventure 3-"Live and Learn" and\or PWNED!! in their minds looking at the last panel?
Btw,metal means revenge when you add pissed off furry creatures.

@WockyJunior: Nah, Garden Rakes would be like Stealth Rock, except damage would be based on height. Imagine it, Flying types would ingore it completely. Pokes under 2ft would lose 1/16th of their HP, 2-4ft = 1/10th, 4ft - 6ft = 1/8th and over 6ft = 1/6th.

@LuigiMan200: lmao, taller Pokemon get hit with more of the rake
No, I meant, you know how you use garden rakes to weed your garden? Would that make it super-effective to grass types?

@WockyJunior: You use a rake? I always used them to gather leaves. For weeds, I use a...
...
...uh, no, I don't think they'd use that word in a Pokemon game.

@WockyJunior: Oh, I see what you mean, although you wouldn't be using the 'sharp' bit of the rake but I shouldn't think too far into it. XD

@luigiman200
dude, the taller ones would take less damage because they would have the pain spread evenly, whereas the short ones would take all of the brunt full on in a small spot

Ah, I've been using the broom technique, so maybe that's why I kept failing! :)

Have some additional reference.

This is another one of those strips which once finished, despite the eagerness to start making it, becames something I'm not entirely sure of. Or at least feel that it's not up to the standard of previous strips. Either way, the feedback I've gotten about it has allowed me to make the best of it, so here's hoping that this will make most of you at least smile and/or chuckle.
As a small bonus, I've been doing some art on the side now that I update this comic less frequently, one of them being 'draw one pokémon of each type' meme. And while it was a tough decision, my Ground poke of choice ended up with Quagsire, and it was therefore impossible for me to draw him without including the appropriate attire.
I currently have no plans for another strip which continues on Wailord's and Quagsires earlier escapades, but I do want to make one, so I should brainstorm some possible alternatives for bringing them to the spotlight again.
Might be two weeks before the next update. Might not. But let's assume the former, or worse.
