The Re-Bustening

The PETA will make them pay. Poor things. D:
Anyway, I just think you're AMAZING. And I don't care how long do you take to make a strip, I just don't want you to stop. *___*

You should just create a sub comic call Dexbusters.
There are ton of info that generally just stupid. The first gen...O my god...That alone would give like 100 comics.

The reason they are inaccurate is because the pokedex entries are written been 10 year olds how just caught the pokemon. Of course it will be exageratted. Houndoom's Burns are said to be permanent and Gardevoir can create Minature Black Holes.

The last one wouldn't happen. They'd probably make it trample diamonds, or find a dead one's hooves.

PETA?
This just in: PETA is a front for Team Rocket! They're also suing Team Plasma for IP infringement in their advertising, claiming Plasma "stole our schtick". Details at eleven. And now back to Professor Oak's radio show! He's holding us all hostage, someone please help. *blip*

Hurray!
Wondering where you went! (Shoulda checked the news.)
I agree with Skelter. The Pokedex is full of false stuff, huh? Man! At least we have the Dexbusters to set us straight.
I am glad to see more of the Dexbusters, but don't feel pressured to do more if you don't have anything to do. I'd fine with every once in a while, or if never again. Whatever.

Well, technically hardness is measured by scratching, and harder materials tend to be brittle and easy to shatter, so the last one doesn't quite work.

Seriously, make this into its own comic- it is awesome! Poor ponyta- off the pokeglue factory for it. The waffle king demands more!!!

I began reading the comic only 14 notches scrolled down, making it appear as if he was speaking to the Shedinja. xD

Revisit
I don't think they did a good job testing the ponyta. You didn't show if the hooves cracked or broke off the ponyta at it's ankle.

Nidoking-one swing of its mighty tail can snap a telephone pole as if it was a match stick.D/P pokedex

Now where's the fun in that?
I understand that not all the panels are in everyone's taste, along with how Ponyta's method isn't accurate for the actual test (partially due to my own lack of knowledge), but this was never meant to be a serious example of how to prove the dex entries. It's a parody poking fun at both universes, and it's basically a hit-or-miss whether or not someone will like it.
If I'll make any more of Dexbusters, I'll try to keep this in mind for the next iteration though. I do want to please a majority of my readers, but I can never hope to please everyone.

xD
Oh god, these are funny. I would simply as for more, but I don't want to rush you. So, can't wait for the next comic!
But what is PETA? And why would it be Team Plasma instead, whatever PETA is. Explain? Sorry for being clueless.

@Bloodflame66
PETA is "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" And are an animal rights group in the U.S.A. Team Plasma is basically the Pokemon Universe Equivalent of PETA, though they had ulterior motives.

@Nabexis

PETA?
PETA? People for the Enslavement and Torture of Activists? After this, I'm sure tons of activists would get whiny, so I imagine they would. More power to PETA then!

You should do one about the Larvitar family. Being able to eat a whole mountain? Seems rediculous.

Technically you can do a total of 649 different DexBusters... just look to the entire B/W Pokedex, LOL!!!
BTW: That Shedinja mask is so cool!

Safe way to do the Ponyta test:
"Hey, uh, do you guys put horseshoes on Ponyta? Yes? With normal nails? Whelp, myth busted"

Panel 3
Diamonds do not work that way!
Hard does not mean strong. Glass is hard as well, would you test the hardness of glass with a jackhammer?

Sorry for the long wait, everyone! If any of you know how to operate my very neglected News section, you'd be aware that I took a month's break as things were starting to build up. But now things are up and running again, so now we'll just have to see how far we'll get!
Due to popular requests, and a new approach to the original gag, the Dexbusters got another strip today. I know very well how I on multiple occasions said that there would be no more strips on this subject, but you know, sometimes people lie. Or say things which at a later point in time aren't as accurate. EITHER WAY, hooves have been shattered, everyone is happy.
If you can't tell what's happening in each panel, Shedinja's entry is busted by Adam wearing it as a mask, Machamp gets to pummel away at a boxing bag while being timed, and Ponyta's hooves are tested with a jackhammer.
Dexbusters are a parody on the show Mythbusters, and it should be emphasized that Adam and Jamie would never make use of any of the methods shown here which would harm the targets of their study.
Edit: I've been getting many responses about how diamonds are actually brittle enough to be broken by jackhammers, so in that sense, I drew the wrong kind of experiment for this. I apologise for any logic discomfort this may have caused you and I hope you can enjoy the strip nonetheless.
