Too many updates for saying essentially the same thing.
I thought about doing the same thing with Hitmonchan, Gastly and Diglett back in the day, but those strips got a larger share of my attention and effort, so I felt it to be appropriate to post them separately.

I didn't get the Dragon Gem reference. The rest were amazing though!
And to think I was selling them all off... But really, they aren't that great an item. Just one attack is boosted, as opposed to a, say, Draco Plate which is a permanent boost

The dragon gem is supposedly a dragon ball from Dragonball (z, z: kai, ect.) and the kid is either gohan or goku, two characters from the show(s)

DK: In Black and White you can find gems, that increase a special type. Gems that increase ground-type are called ground-gems, for example.

Three words: Flying Gem Archeops.
Use Acrobatics. Flying Gem activates and is used up, which also activates Acrobatics' boost, giving that first attack....uh....lemme math it out...effectively 165 base power. Plus STAB.
All subsequent Acrobatics are 110 BP, plus STAB.
???
PROFIT!
So yeah, most of the gems do suck, but if you have nothing else to put in there, they can certainly be a useful surprise. And of course Flying Gem + Acrobatics = pain. Just a matter of finding that niche.

Other gem effects
This is just to be random, but I'll fill in some more. Water Gem would probably be wet, the Ice Gem is probably just ice, the Fire Gem would probably be very hot, the Rock Gem & Ground Gem probably the only REAL gems for sure...that's all I got so far.

Hello and welcome to another session of me fooling around. The topic of today is cavern gems, hope you'll have a good time.
I'll see if I can have some simplier strips up and ready when Mondays comes around, along with the usual Friday updates. Time will have to show if I'll land myself a heart failure or not!
