Today's strip is based on the idea of Lord Myre. His idea of letting the effect of Klutz become more than a faulty method of carrying items pleased my humor bladders, and so, here we are.

Edit: Changed its name in the last panel, though I had corrected earlier. Oh well! Gotta expect mistakes when I uploaded stuff in a rush.

Well, yes. It truly is an idiotic name.

Eh... Not one of your better ones, and not just because you can't decide how to spell "Golett". The joke just...fell flat (pun intended). Rely on your own sense of humour from now on!

Nice Pansage face, though.

@ Balladeer: Maybe it's a female Golett and is nicknamed "Golette"?

Can there be female Golett? I vaguely remember Golett as being genderless, but I have yet to actually get a 5th-gen game.

...Does Golette by any chance is taken from Colette of ToS? xD

Ha ha!

Anyone else think of Tales of Symphonia when reading this? I swore I read "Colette's Klutz," and I had burst out in laughter and had to re-read that.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a ToS reference. Which is awesome.

Ah. In that case, ignore my comment. Kinda niche, though.

...the joke was still funny.

Also, I have yet to use the same name twice here.

Who would even have dynamic punch on a klutz Golett anyway?
Come to think of it, who would use a Klutz Golett?

A Ghost/Ground golem, in fun-size. And yes, it's Black/White, it's the current theme I'm going with. Will probably last for two more weeks.

@ c-1998

If you don't get a golett it will be one the worst decisions you could make. I caught one at level 30 and it's now a level 75 golurk and my strongest pokemon. And it knows fly.

An Accidental Rofl

Let's just say I thought you'd made a completely different reference here.

Tales of Symphonia, a character named "Colette". She is constantly falling flat on her face and earns the title "Klutz" early on in the game for falling through a wall..

That is what this strip will forever say to me xD
Laughing forever~

@Balladeer: i think your looking for the word "esoteric", meaning known by a certain group or certain few, can't blame you for not knowing the word though, it's it's own description!

Appropriately enough, "golem" and "klutz" are both yiddish words. Huh.

Reply

Did you take this from Tales of Symphonia?
