Could have worked just as well with a Voltorb, but the fifth generation made things a bit more weird than usual.
I can also announce that I have a fresh and new computer in my possession, so hopefully, comic production will pick up more speed now! Assuming that I can get all my programs in place.
The only good thing is that Foongus doesn't blow up in your face the very first turn you face it.
Gotta second Celestial on that. Damn Voltorbs. But then again, Foongus has the annoying tendency to rape you with Effect Spore. :I
this comic is shit
this comic is crap
i dont know any other words
Haha, nice XD The fifth gens are rather bizarre, even for Pokemon. I do very much like these comics~
Arguably Amoongus looks even less like a Poké Ball, and yet the idiot trainer still falls for it. It was kinda explainable in the first generation, when Mewtwo looked the same as Kangashkhan unless you got really close, so we could just assume that the trainer had awful awful eyesight.
I remember when i saw a Pokeball and i said "Oh, a Pokeball", and then a Foongus appears. You really should make a comic complaining about that girl that always contacting you in HG/SS about her Marril evolving billion of times. >__>
Haha wow, that's amazing. It makes perfect sense too.
Which worries me...especially since the trainer can see the minute differences in certain Shiny pokemon relative to the normal ones.
i think im having an identity crisis...
(At least I'm safe from that kind of thing. :P)
I just wonder why it is that these creatures naturally evolved with a pattern on them of not only what is likely a recent technological development, but also one that is designed to capture Pokemon. Their Pokedex description leads one to believe wild Pokemon want nothing more than to be caught, but then if that were true, why use Pokeballs at all?
Lolz its a pokmn liek a pokbll awsm!!!!1111!!111ONE!!!
I'm so loving this whole Blah thing
Y'know, I always was a bit puzzled about foongus. I mean, voltorb seems like it could be artificial, but Foongus seems like it should have predated the pokeball. Then again, the Silph Co. designers might just have never seen the already present foongus, and inadvertently caused one of the biggest coincidences ever.
It is a cross between a shroom & a mimic octopus.
I am the original! i came from the future to tell you of impending doom. i shall get an online profile fifty times and fave this comic till i die. but before that, i cloned myself across the world. hoping to pass on my boy-girl legacy.
Cool story bro.
This brings up a question: Is the trainer falling for it, or are you?
This whole Blah thing is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in comments. And great comic mate.
I reckon the original blah is actually Bumbazzle drumming up advertising for his comic.
If so, well done, Bazzle - it's working! ;)
This comic is genous! And Im really loanly, and this is how I make friends...
*goes off to cry*
@blah: This is a webcomic, and unless you're a lonely little troll sitting in the hobble of his parent's basement, then GO MAKE FRIENDS IN THE REAL WORLD. I mean, spamming up this comic? I'm not sure if that's what they want, but I've had enough. Just.. Just stop.
Now, for the webcomic. It's pretty good, and I've made it one of my regulars. This one is particularly appealing, and I can say that for all of your webcomics. I am done. G'bye.
Ripping off PBF, I see?
Look over some of the other comment pages: this isn't just Blah, it's a whole host of people making fun of a troll under his alias. I'd wager that Blah is one such.
Clearly the pokeball symbol is in fact universal; cosmically important.
It was in the background of Sweden's eurovision song this year.
Hey look, I'm on board that the Blah thing is hilarious. Now for the comic, great job man!
(Guest) goes in all fields
Clearly I have no life so I'm going to troll a Pokemon web comic.
Also, there was a comment while back by a fake Blah that I'm sexually attracted to farm animals...I really like sea animals, actually.
angst angst angst angst
Yep! I'm a seahorse! Dohoho!
It's nice to know that my clones have taken in their roots of trolling this webcomic. bumbazzle, i am your fan for warpspecs to come. warpspecs are what's now called years in the future. and i kept on this comic in the future with even more awesome drawing. and using digimon instead. might do yugi-oh. whatever that was.
A wild Horsea appears?
No, wait, that's just my wife, Mrs.Blah.
Quick, Mrs.Blah, use smokescreen so we can run away!
I THINK these designs are made to fool another pokémon, not humans.
It doesn't make the comic less funny, especially if you remember the trainer can be fooled in-game by these things...
-uses smokescreen- Yeah!!! Let's roll!
Dude good job on your comics. They're really witty, and the art style is great.
For a lifetime poke fan, this strip brings a smile to my face every time
Teach me, teach me how to troll. everybody troll every everybody, troll! now do the troll, do the troll, rock and roll with the troll!!! trolling all day with a spin!!! :P
I mean, if Game Freak Inc. wanted to use a new "mimic," couldn't they use one that makes more sense?
There are various real-life fungi that change their appearance depending on what they are attached to. I'm pretty sure Foongus and Amoonguss are based off of fungi like that, because they are copying the items nearby.
gay as aids (p.s not blah here, definitely someone else)
You got me at "F".XD
THE POKEBALL IS A LIE! >(
Notice to all blahs, if you do not act now you will selfdestruct
" F... N..." How dare you >:(
I had picked up my boyfriend's DS in the beginning of December and played a little White, when we first started dating. I was what I thought was an item in the grass, and say "Why haven't you picked this item up yet?" "Because it's not an item." "What?" Then I realize it's a Pokemon. "Oh."
@Oh My!: Still means that the trainer is going, "Oh gee, look, a Pokeball that is almost two feet in diameter. Seems legit!"
@white4lima: True, it's been stated many times that wild Pokémon tend to be jealous of Pokémon that are with humans. As for the Poké Ball bit...um, portability?
