The impossible made possible

This is just one of the stupidity things I have ever seen on Pokemon. I mean seriously, HE'S ALREADY LEVITATING TO BEGIN WITH!!!

On a Tuesday?! Oh your gonna spoil your future kids, I can already see the Monday morning candy breakfasts.
OI! Disciples of the Bum. SJ takes a vote for best series in different categories, in my unhumble opinion you should ALLL vote for him, especially since he will never bring up the idea himself.

Lol! I never understood why Magnemite's ability wasn't levitate in the first place.
@ Totally not an acquaintance of B: Vote for Rare Candy Treatment? I'll do it, hell yes! :D

You joking right???? It has that as an attack???
Note to self: don't get a Magnemite, if pokemon become real...
19 Apr 2011 11:55 am
Well, I always imagined that they can't float above a certain hight, and ground types would just have their attack cause the ground to fly up to hit them.
Also, I demand another episode of Wailord and Quagsire,

agreed
Thank you! Everytime I see a magnemite or it's evolutions while playing the games it bugs me that for some reason they were never given the levitate ability considering they have been doing so since Gen. I

Wait...they can't have Levitate as an ability? That...would explain so much...and yet so little...

Seriously? Magnemite don't have levitate? *Looks it up on bulbapedia*
FFFUUUUUUUU.......
All the times I could've used earthquake on those bastards...

Which now makes me wonder how Magnemite was affected by Ground-type moves to begin with.

No wonder I don't catch Magnetmite.
I've always hated these little things about how they freaking levitate, yet they need Magnet Rise to prove it.

Wow, I never realized Magnemite can't have the ability levitate, I thought that was a given.
The Magnemite looks so proud of its self in the last panel. It's really cute.
26 Sep 2011 01:52 pm
And yet and still!
If it doesn't do this he can still be hit by Earthquake.

Because
@Celestial_Wolf: Because there is a b in both and an n in neither.

My opinion
Im guessing that the magnemite family are affected by earthquyake because plate tectonics seem to be vital to the magnetic poles of the earth so maybe thats why it dies to them but I do get this it really is funny

This is the second comic in a row with a Magnemite in it. Nothing wrong with it, but I found that interesting...

Wait wait. this is even funnier. *ahem*
(insert pokemon here) used earthquake!
It's super effective on Magnemite!
It doesn't affect Doduo...

Here's why Levitate isn't on the Magnemite family:
They've got more resistances than any other Pokémon, and more weaknesses to other types (and a heavy one to Ground) to compensate. If it had Levitate it'd be much harder to take it out for a first-timer. Also, Magnet Pull is several times better for trapping Steel Types in Doubles/Triples play, which then puts Magnet Rise into play first turn...followed by a teammate's Earthquake.
Or you could just stick it with an Air Balloon and be done with it until an attack hits it.
