They should protest against trees that regrow when you look away in stead.

I second The_mad_one.
It's kind of funny, I was discussing HM slaves with a friend just the other day, wishing trainers really would carry around axes and climbing equipment so I didn't have to use one of my Pokémon just to move around the field.

Second panel is the one that got me. "And since when is being a slave a bad thing?"

Teehee to the Bibarel in frame 2, it's all he's good for.
What software do you use to make these? The picatures are really vewy pwetty.

ACtually, Bibarel is ALSO good for cheesing Inconsistent+Substitute+Protect+Toxic+damaging attack.
But that's besides the point-this is an awesome comic.

Yeah, that thought has come across me a lot too. From hedge trimmers to surfing boards to cover all of your problems with blocks and nature hazards.
Although some of them would have to come back as TMs though. Surf has always been priceless to carry around.

Well
Technically "FLY" should eliminate the need for almost every HM (sans flash, which is fairly useless in the first place). You can fly over the water. You can fly over the trees and boulders in caves. You can fly up cliffs and waterfalls. I suppose you can't replace dive with it...

I would like to see that Gardevoir one day. The idea alone seems hilarious. :)

What about the Pokémon that look one gender but are the other? Like a female Alakazam or a male Gardevior.

Where is team plasma? They're at the forefront of the anti-pokemon-training movement.

Tom?
That looks a lot like Tom from Eddsworld on the side of the first panel!

The Misdreavus one is really a stretch since it comes from "mischievous", not "miss" anything.

whatever theres too much gender separation in todays society... i let my male kirlia become a male gardevoir because thats the way he was born... all parents should be that supportive and un-controlling *nods smugly*

Fleep? :3
I love your comics, firstly. xD And secondly, as a longtime Kirlia breeder, I find the last panel to be so true. xD I try to only breed females so that my male Kirlia don't suffer the indignancy of looking like the girls. lol Great stuff, ye've got here.

1.I started to read this a while ago moving up from the bottom and just reached here.
2.In one of my games I had a lv.100 Venasaur,I only used it cause it knew Flash...
3.I'm tired of trying to name female geodudes!!

My friend had a Pokemon named HM Slave or something like that. I annoyed him for forever saying, " What kind of trainer are you,you don't even love your Pokemon!" and he's like, " It's a video game" and then I'm like, "That's beside the point."

Been a while since a big update!
The second iteration of the debate approach, perfect for mashing several smaller ideas into one strip. I initially thought of using a Gardevoir with a stubble in the last panel, but the thought of a Misdreavus with a mustache was too good to pass up.
As some of you might also have noticed, the url adress has also been changed to something more short and nicely, so being placed onto my own personal domain is a sweel feeling. Apologies to everyone who visited during the interphase where. . . . . . . the redirecting didn't work or when the new adress wasn't ready. Heh.
Rare Candy Treatment is now also on Facebook, Tumblr and Twitter, so those of you who are either accustomed or addicted to any of those social media functions are welcome to get your updates through different means. I'm relatively new to all three, so any suggestions to improve that frontier is welcome and appreciated.
Did I have anything else to say?
I don't think so.
I better stop.
