That's the last of the move strips for now. Regular strips will commence next week.

04 Feb 2011 05:27 am

Diglett evolved into squadron

04 Feb 2011 05:28 am

04 Feb 2011 05:56 am

Can he really learn that move o.O I want a flying Diglet

04 Feb 2011 05:58 am

He can totally learn that move.

04 Feb 2011 06:06 am

I was expecting a Peanuts reference.

04 Feb 2011 09:04 am

Thing is, how does diglett even use scratch...

04 Feb 2011 02:07 pm

Cute :)

04 Feb 2011 05:05 pm

04 Feb 2011 05:37 pm

Excuse me while I roll on the floor, laughing

04 Feb 2011 05:49 pm

How Diglett can even use Scratch has always been a mystery to me.
And now Arial Ace... hurrrr.

Awesome strip, though. Diglett looks good with those goggles. XD

04 Feb 2011 09:12 pm

This = win.

04 Feb 2011 09:58 pm

with this, it makes more sense than scratch.

05 Feb 2011 01:49 am

Oh diglett, you make absolutely no sense...

05 Feb 2011 05:03 am

Wooper can learn Ice Punch without arms.

06 Feb 2011 03:58 am

its cool when using diglett in the pokeathalon's jump category

07 Feb 2011 12:25 am

I wish I was him flying right now looks fun~ (:

07 Feb 2011 09:27 pm

hmm the navigation keys to read previous comics is missing

09 Feb 2011 05:05 pm

You better be referring to Archer.

09 Feb 2011 05:56 pm

Logic is there

Aerial-Ace's original jap. name means "Swellow Return cut" and refers to a legendary sword technique. How that became a flying type move isn't clear to me (just because there is swellow in it lol)

09 Feb 2011 08:49 pm

Swellow Cut?

You mean Swallow, right?

The legendary sword technique was probably not named after a Pokemon.

Also, Gastly learns Fire Punch without any appendages at all.

13 Feb 2011 03:55 am

Make more foo! >>

17 Feb 2011 01:51 am

Diglett used barrel roll!

28 Feb 2011 04:17 am

Diglett get out of that plane this doesn't make any sense you don't even have a pilots license.

14 Mar 2011 06:34 pm

18 Mar 2011 01:52 am

Ugh, Diglett. Not Diglet. Seriously, check your damn comics.

18 Mar 2011 07:42 am

Huh. Could have sworn it was a single t. Oh well!

28 Mar 2011 05:40 pm

A Diglett? Learning Aerial Ace? And flying a plane to do it??

Seems Legit.

04 Apr 2011 10:33 pm

I've always wondered: What does Diglett even scratch with?! O_o

12 Apr 2011 04:59 am

XDD Oh wow. <33

19 Apr 2011 06:49 pm

I don't know if you'll see this, but I just thought you should know...

That is not his nose it is his mouth with a tooth.

19 Apr 2011 07:08 pm

Desk: It's a nose. The official art and anime agree on that it's a protrusion, not a hole.

24 Apr 2011 05:24 pm

Amagad I never considered the nose being a mouth! CANNOT UNSEE!!!

29 Apr 2011 05:02 pm

It should be pretty easy to see that it is a nose really. If you watch some original artwork you'll see that the white, shiny area isn't even near one of the edges of the nose and can therefore not be a tooth.

27 May 2011 05:18 pm

I love that he's still buried in something lol. No one will ever see a Diglett's hind parts.

01 Jun 2011 10:55 pm

26 Jun 2011 08:38 pm

27 Jun 2011 07:30 pm

they will never show digletts bottom half of his body ... shame

18 Jul 2011 01:44 pm

And the big question on my mind, is how did they know scratch in the first place?? They have no arms.

15 Aug 2011 08:53 am

Diglett learns aerial ace because underneath the ground there is a pidgey.

27 Aug 2011 11:03 pm

@Celestial_Wolf: Probably pops up out of the ground quickly, covered in sharp stones or something...

17 Oct 2011 11:48 pm

REALLY adorable!

27 Nov 2011 02:38 am

If you don't know how Diglett uses scratch, then you never heard of a finned pokemon using METAL CLAW, of all things.

17 Dec 2011 06:24 pm

Since diglett seems to be based on a mole, i've always thought diglett has claw-tipped paws just hidden underground

08 Jan 2012 05:17 am

i had the same kind of battle today. But it was a Slaking that knew it. for one thing, it can't fly. and for another its a super lazy pokemon. :-L

21 Jan 2012 02:07 am

Now let's get that Red Baron.

09 Apr 2012 02:30 am

these move strips are the best!

14 May 2012 12:33 pm

Diglet get out of the plane, that doesn't even make any sense >.<
This is almost as bad as when the diglet in mystery dungeon complained that it's feet hurt....

24 Aug 2012 02:15 pm

i want it

I want that last panel. On a shirt.

08 Sep 2012 03:17 am

Actually, Aerial has nothing to do with flying, contrary to popular belief. It's actually the wicked amount of speed said Pokemon has. Which doesn't explain why Lairon knows it. Shit.

21 Oct 2012 08:56 pm

[Insert Comment Title]

Would you have any problem making a wallpaper sized version of that last panel?

08 May 2013 08:44 pm

This is how

Diglett probably uses its nose for punches.
