How Diglett can even use Scratch has always been a mystery to me.
And now Arial Ace... hurrrr.
Awesome strip, though. Diglett looks good with those goggles. XD

Logic is there
Aerial-Ace's original jap. name means "Swellow Return cut" and refers to a legendary sword technique. How that became a flying type move isn't clear to me (just because there is swellow in it lol)

Swellow Cut?
You mean Swallow, right?
The legendary sword technique was probably not named after a Pokemon.
Also, Gastly learns Fire Punch without any appendages at all.

Diglett get out of that plane this doesn't make any sense you don't even have a pilots license.

DIGLETT LEARNED AERIAL ACE!!
DIGLETT EVOLVED INTO BARON SQUADONLETT!!
THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT.

A Diglett? Learning Aerial Ace? And flying a plane to do it??
Seems Legit.

Nose
I don't know if you'll see this, but I just thought you should know...
That is not his nose it is his mouth with a tooth.

Desk: It's a nose. The official art and anime agree on that it's a protrusion, not a hole.

NOSE
It should be pretty easy to see that it is a nose really. If you watch some original artwork you'll see that the white, shiny area isn't even near one of the edges of the nose and can therefore not be a tooth.

I love that he's still buried in something lol. No one will ever see a Diglett's hind parts.

And the big question on my mind, is how did they know scratch in the first place?? They have no arms.

Diglett learns aerial ace because underneath the ground there is a pidgey.

@Celestial_Wolf: Probably pops up out of the ground quickly, covered in sharp stones or something...

Pokelogic...
If you don't know how Diglett uses scratch, then you never heard of a finned pokemon using METAL CLAW, of all things.

Diglett
Since diglett seems to be based on a mole, i've always thought diglett has claw-tipped paws just hidden underground

Diglet get out of the plane, that doesn't even make any sense >.<
This is almost as bad as when the diglet in mystery dungeon complained that it's feet hurt....

Actually, Aerial has nothing to do with flying, contrary to popular belief. It's actually the wicked amount of speed said Pokemon has. Which doesn't explain why Lairon knows it. Shit.

Would you have any problem making a wallpaper sized version of that last panel?

That's the last of the move strips for now. Regular strips will commence next week.
