How Diglett can even use Scratch has always been a mystery to me.
And now Arial Ace... hurrrr.

Awesome strip, though. Diglett looks good with those goggles. XD

DANGAH ZONE!

You better be referring to Archer.

Reply

09 Feb 2011 11:56 am

Logic is there

Aerial-Ace's original jap. name means "Swellow Return cut" and refers to a legendary sword technique. How that became a flying type move isn't clear to me (just because there is swellow in it lol)

Reply

09 Feb 2011 02:49 pm

Swellow Cut?

You mean Swallow, right?

The legendary sword technique was probably not named after a Pokemon.

Also, Gastly learns Fire Punch without any appendages at all.

Diglett get out of that plane this doesn't make any sense you don't even have a pilots license.

Reply

14 Mar 2011 01:34 pm

DIGLETT LEARNED AERIAL ACE!!

DIGLETT EVOLVED INTO BARON SQUADONLETT!!

THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT.

Reply

17 Mar 2011 08:52 pm

Ugh, Diglett. Not Diglet. Seriously, check your damn comics.

Reply

18 Mar 2011 02:42 am

Huh. Could have sworn it was a single t. Oh well!

Reply

28 Mar 2011 12:40 pm

A Diglett? Learning Aerial Ace? And flying a plane to do it??

Seems Legit.

I've always wondered: What does Diglett even scratch with?! O_o

Reply

11 Apr 2011 11:59 pm

XDD Oh wow. <33

Nose

I don't know if you'll see this, but I just thought you should know...

That is not his nose it is his mouth with a tooth.

Reply

19 Apr 2011 02:08 pm

Desk: It's a nose. The official art and anime agree on that it's a protrusion, not a hole.

Reply

24 Apr 2011 12:24 pm

NOSE

Amagad I never considered the nose being a mouth! CANNOT UNSEE!!!

Reply

29 Apr 2011 12:02 pm

NOSE

It should be pretty easy to see that it is a nose really. If you watch some original artwork you'll see that the white, shiny area isn't even near one of the edges of the nose and can therefore not be a tooth.

I love that he's still buried in something lol. No one will ever see a Diglett's hind parts.

Reply

26 Jun 2011 03:38 pm

WAIT HIS HANDS AREN'T ON THE CONTROLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply

27 Jun 2011 02:30 pm

they will never show digletts bottom half of his body ... shame

Reply

18 Jul 2011 08:44 am

And the big question on my mind, is how did they know scratch in the first place?? They have no arms.

Reply

15 Aug 2011 03:53 am

Diglett learns aerial ace because underneath the ground there is a pidgey.

Reply

27 Aug 2011 06:03 pm

@Celestial_Wolf: Probably pops up out of the ground quickly, covered in sharp stones or something...

Reply

17 Oct 2011 06:48 pm

REALLY adorable!

Reply

26 Nov 2011 08:38 pm

Pokelogic...

If you don't know how Diglett uses scratch, then you never heard of a finned pokemon using METAL CLAW, of all things.

Reply

17 Dec 2011 12:24 pm

Diglett

Since diglett seems to be based on a mole, i've always thought diglett has claw-tipped paws just hidden underground

Reply

07 Jan 2012 11:17 pm

i had the same kind of battle today. But it was a Slaking that knew it. for one thing, it can't fly. and for another its a super lazy pokemon. :-L

Now let's get that Red Baron.

Reply

Reply

Diglet get out of the plane, that doesn't even make any sense >.<
This is almost as bad as when the diglet in mystery dungeon complained that it's feet hurt....

Reply

24 Aug 2012 09:15 am

i want it

I want that last panel. On a shirt.

Reply

07 Sep 2012 10:17 pm

Actually, Aerial has nothing to do with flying, contrary to popular belief. It's actually the wicked amount of speed said Pokemon has. Which doesn't explain why Lairon knows it. Shit.

Reply

21 Oct 2012 03:56 pm

[Insert Comment Title]

Would you have any problem making a wallpaper sized version of that last panel?

Reply

08 May 2013 03:44 pm

This is how

Diglett probably uses its nose for punches.
